Might as well get it started:
Red Sox give David Price 217 million for 7 years, the most ever for a pitcher.
There's no denying that he's an ace, but 7 years for a 30 year-old pitcher? I hate it when the Sox play loose with money, Yankees style. The Yankees can absorb multiple busts and still be in contention yearly. Not that the Sox aren't rich, but it just seems like when they dish out superstar-level money it comes back to haunt them.
Anyways, here's hoping that he does good things for the Sox. He certainly gave them problems when he pitched for the Rays. And I hope last postseason was an aberration for him.
