  • The streak is over. It was almost over last night. Let's see if they settle in a more sustainable pace now.
"...you pointy-headed autopsy nerd. Do you think it's possible for you to post without using words like "hilarious," "absurd," "canard," and "truther"? Your bare assertions do not make it so. Maybe your reasoning is too stunted and your vocabulary is too limited to go without these epithets."

He may not have much left, but Dre still can throw a great alley oop pass.

      • Top 10 NBA PGs of all time. Stockton has already fallen to 3 with Steph Curry hot on his heels.

How did he fall to third if both the guys ahead of him had careers that ended before his did?

          • I can't believe ESPN went with this Gordon Monson quote.

"John Stockton was the best pound for pound point guard of all time"
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

DO you think that Stockton should be rated higher than Magic or Oscar? I love Stockton, but I cant argue with that ranking.
              PLesa excuse the tpyos.

The question isn't directed to me -- but he's no way shape or form better than Magic. I have no idea about Robertson because I never saw him play. I don't think he's better than Isaiah unless someone wants to say that longevity should play a huge factor in the ranking.

Ive beat this dead horse before, but all of ORob's stats are super inflated because of the era. Isn't he a career 48% shooter? That means he had to take what, 27-28 shots a game to get his career average. That's not particularly efficient. He may be better than Stockton, but not because of the stats. But the triple double average is the first thing anyone mentions when talking about his greatness.
Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss

There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

I tell people the same thing about Pistol Pete. He shot like 41% for his career in college. His best shooting season in the NBA he shot 45.9%, and it took him 24 shots per game to score 27 points.

Hilliard - the guy out of Villanova? I didn't know he was even in the league.

I easily recognized Drummond but had to look up the guy with him and I'm pretty sure it was Hilliard. They were still wearing their Pistons shorts so it looks like the bounced over to the food court after a practice or walk through

                          • The Spurs have a higher point differential than Golden State and it's not particularly close. Additionally, they're on pace to win 70 games. I think they might be the better team.

despite GSW's historic year, I tend to agree. Ws could be an underdog in a 7 game series v SAS.

                              • The (likely) problem for the Spurs is having to be the 2nd seed. The drop off from OKC, to whoever is the 4th seed is huge. Playing a healthy Westbrook and Durant in the 2nd round is going to put a lot of miles on someone, assuming they are even able to get by them.
