That's gonna look like a bargain 3 years from now the way NBA player salaries are going to skyrocket.

Time to get ready to hang another championship banner in Staples! Since he led Cleveland to a championship this year, I am sure it will be no problem for the Lakers.

I don't love that, but lets wait and see what other semi-scrubs are going to get with the significant bump in the cap. Lakers had to pay someone...they might still have a ways to go before they even hit the minimum salary requirements.

Clarkson, who is actually good - and young - got less than a guy who couldn't get off the bench last year. ouch!

Would be fun to know the other teams with which they were competing for his services. He must've had a slew of $15M per year offers that the Lakers had to outbid!

Not a lot of other options out there at center. While several will receive max salaries, I don't think any justify them.

I'm okay with Mozgov, especially since I don't think they're counting on him as a main scoring option. Play some defense, grab some boards, be a big body in there, I'm good for now.

I like the young core. It's going to be a couple of years before they really start reaching their potential.

I'm not going to lie. Part of me hopes they wallow enough for Jeannie to get impatient and fire Jimmy.

Joakim Noah got 4 years and $70 mil, so there might have been other bidders. And Dellevedova signed a 4 year $38.4 million dollar offer sheet. This money is insane.

$18M a year for Deng? I much prefer an old Joe Johnson at $11M over two years than that Deng deal. I still can't figure out what the Lakers are doing.
