The thing that is frustrating is this move is necessary because of the horrible Addison Russell trade. Had to restock the farm system.

So Moss, Donaldson and Cespedes takes Oakland to the best record in baseball and then Beane gets rid of all three of them? They must have a hell of a farm system.

It is that they don't have a farm system. The A's are trying to rebuild the system right now after they made that idiotic trade of Addison Russell.

Also, now Norris has been traded as well. I don't have a huge problem with blowing this thing up. The A's bring back the same team next year and they finish 3rd in the division behind the Angels and Mariners.

The me it just looks like he's got it turned around. You build your farm system so you can put a strong team on the field. If you've always got a strong team it seems you play that card and take it as far as you can. I can see trading a player that will be signing somewhere else next year but I'm not sure that was the deal with all these guys.
