Filipino divers fare really poorly in Asian Games competition. Apparently there is little national support for a dive team so they sent these two guys that had never competed at this level previously.

The results are amazing. Think Cool Runnings but without any feelgood ending to the story.

No feelgood ending? Heck- they're in Singapore and probably get their hotel and flight paid for! I call that a win. I like how they exchanged a five after each of the terrible dives. And the audience reacting out of sheer polite protocol applauding the unanimous 0.0 score. Also of note, the first diver's back is visibly scarlet while he's chilling in the hot tub.

That is the most awesome video I have seen in a while. Hard to pick my favorite part, but it may be the part where the second guy, in a display of hope that we can all learn from, optimistically raised his arms above his head to break the water, just as he slapped into the pool feet first.

I imagine him thinking at that moment "The water is so smooth that it looks like the ceiling!"
