The Flames are not going to be the doormats of the league.

    1. A Canadian team will win the Stanley Cup.

    2. Unlike some have predicted, the final four teams will not be the same as last year.

I will not watch a single game. That is my bold prediction.

          1. The NHL will realize having two teams in Toronto with a million fans makes more sense than having one team in Tampa or Phoenix with 20,000 fans.

          2. Gary Bettmann and David Stern are lovers and will retire together to the Hamptons.

          3. Teams will switch over from the bulky shorts and long socks to long pants like Philadelphia wanted to wear twenty years ago.

          4. The NHL will find a company to finally offer them a dental plan.

          5. The Jets will have an outdoor game in January and all the players and fans will suffer frostbite so bad they will have to cancel their season.

The Flames beat the Habs last night. So far, Calgary's finest have points for every game they've played in.

Their draft pick, Monahan, is fantastic too. How many 18 year olds score in each of their first four games?

And the Flames beat the Devils. If can win 3/5 on the road swing through Cali, Phoenix, and Dallas, they'll be doing well.
