Looking back this is a great post. Perfectly sums up my feelings about Cespedes.

Cespedes is at best an average OF. He was actually below average in his first 2 years. -1.2 dWAR and -.5 dWAR. This year he has contributed positively to defense with a .8 dWAR.

Great throws, but he isn't a good defender.

He did the same thing the next night. Boots it around and then throws you out.

That one was only to third though. And it was Puljos running IIRC. Still an impressive throw.
