I don't care if he is guilty or not (Which I believe is what you are getting at). I found their Press release very simple and the heart of why they released him.

“A young man was murdered last week and we extend our sympathies to the family and friends who mourn his loss. Words cannot express the disappointment we feel knowing that one of our players was arrested as a result of this investigation. We realize that law enforcement investigations into this matter are ongoing. We support their efforts and respect the process. At this time, we believe this transaction is simply the right thing to do.”

Urban lobbied hard for Hernandez, Cunningham and Spikes.

One murder, and 2 suspensions for banned substances between the three.

Hernandez is witness/part of possibly 3 murders at this point.

So they're saying Hernandez planned this for a couple of days? I'm gonna say he came up with a horrible plan that pretty much guaranteed he would get caught.

Why not hire a hit man? I mean Hernandez has got his and the dead guy's cell phones pinging off the same towers, multiple eyewitnesses that they were together, all kinds of surveillance video showing them together and Hernandez with a gun, and to top it all off a piece of chewed gum and a shell casing together in the rental car? Pretty stupid.
