He has not fully come out but sources say he plans to, however his boyfriend dropped the bomb on deadspin with pics. Former Jets and Cardinals safety Kerry Rhodes is gay. Everyone let out a collective gasp.....now we can move on with our day. For some reason this doesn't change my viewpoint of him at all. I still look at him as a slightly abover average NFL safety. Weird I know.

From what I read, Rhodes has specifically denied being gay. The pics are from a guy who claims to be his ex-boyfriend. Rhodes says they are not romantic pics. Either way, it sounds like Rhodes didn't choose to make it a public topic at this time. Bad form by the alleged ex, especially during free agency.
