Who is the greatest right handed batter today who is clean

After Poohole (and I'm not sure he is clean) who is the greatest clean right handed batter of this generation?

    No way Albert is clean.

This one is tough. It was Manny. I think Evan Longoria could be the best of the next generation. But this one, like last 10 years? Man, this kills me, but Jeter is up there.

      Ichiro bats left.

So, no way Albert is clean, but Longoria is clean? Go figure.

Or perhaps, that is not what you are implying there.

I agree about Jeter. It would be much easier to root for him if he wasn't a Yankee, but he's a good one. For my sanity, I hope he isn't clean, but dangit, there's no reason to think is isn't.

To clarify, I don't think Longoria juices. I think Albert does. But who knows. Longoria was a nobody, undrafted out of HS and had to go to a JC before going to LBSU. So it wouldn't surprise me if he did/does. However, I think it's just a matter of time before Albert gets nailed.

So I'll add another for the next generation who I am pretty sure doesn't juice: Pedroia.

See, while you don't think Longoria juices, for whatever reason, I don't think Pujols does. Whereas with Longoria I'd kind of be shocked if doesn't juice.

I'd agree on Pedroia. But as you mentioned, at the end of the day, who knows.

If you've ever tried that grip, it feels really weird, but you have so much more control of the bat. I did it a few times in BP just for fun.

There's a video on this page of an interview with El Hombre. Either he'll look like a major-league asshole if it comes out that he used PED's...or he's telling the truth.

Jeter should not be in this discussion at all. There is a reason why most stat people consider him overated
