    Official Ducks Thread

That game last night was sweet. The whistle blown prematurely to help the Ducks seal the game was even sweeter.

That they are up 2-1 over the Wings as the 8th seed right now is awesome too.

But I am going to kick the TV commentators in the junk if I hear them tell me how stacked the Ducks farm system is with "the next great goalies". Horse Shit. The Bakersfield Condors are their ECHL affiliate (think AA for baseball) and we had 1 affiliated goalie and 1 non-affiliated. The non-affiliated played most of the season, and the affiliated goalie wasn't even put on the playoff roster he sucked so bad. Please.

Anyways...here is to continued good Ducks hockey.

I'm a fan of anyone that is playing the Red Wings.

I have a hard time cheering for Chris Pronger since he bailed on Edmonton.

I've tried several times, but I just can't get into hockey on tv. For me, it's a lot more enjoyable when seen at the rink.

Considering the Ducks have essentially pulled Jiggy, Bryzgalov, and now Hiller out of thin air, they deserve some credit. Whether that's development through the minors or coaching in Anaheim, it's a pretty big deal.

These Ducks/Wings games are awesome to watch. The Ducks are one of the few teams that match up extremely well with the Wings. They've got the depth, they've got the defensemen, and most importantly, they've had a goaltender that's able to steal some games. It felt like Anaheim was holding on to dear life in the 3rd period, but they still won.

We were in Koo Koo Roo once ordering some food and in comes Paul Kariya. Dude looks like he is about 5' 8" and 150 pounds.

He ordered mac and cheese as a side, btw.

              Don't you mean Pronger's wife?

I'm just bitter that the Blues traded him for Eric freaking Brewer. I understand why we had to trade him, but good grief, get a decent return for him.

Yeah, his wife or whomever made it happen.

Weren't there rumors that Carlos Boozer's wife tried to get him to move out of Utah? Apparently he should have listened to her more (unless you think he's better off without her).
