That's why getting that game one win was so huge for the Lakers. The Nuggets are too good and the chances of a game two loss for LA were too high. This series is over if the Nuggets go up 2-0. As it stands, I still expect to see the Lakers take this in six.

Nuggets in Seven. You heard it here first.

It won't happen. A Nuggets-Magic final would kill Stern.

I like your style. You have more confidence than I!

It is funny how skittish the Lakers are. The guy who was the hero in Game 1 is the goat in Game 2. Ariza makes a clutch steal...then he has a costly turnover.

You think he'll pull some strings? Talk to the officials in one of the back hallways?

You don't have the confidence because they are your team. You notice all their faults.

I still see a supremely talented team with a determined superstar that has one win and two more home games if they need them.

Three of the next four games are in Denver.

That's tough. Not impossible, but I bet they'd rather be 2-0.

If this is not the right thread for this comment, I apologize. I just wanted to let DDD know I am sorry Kobe couldn't beat the Nuggets twice in a row at home. I will give Kobe props on his grammar though. I guess that is one area he could tutor LeBron. Perhaps they could exchange tutoring lessons. Kobe schools LeBron in grammar and LeBron can school Kobe in basketball.

It must have been a downer night at the DDD household what with a Lakers' loss and the wife's new calling.

Wow. Great game by the Nuggets this series combined with Chicago/Boston might bring me back to the NBA.
There's no such thing as luck, only drunken invincibility. Make it happen.
