You wonder how many teams are interested in him. He did not perform well in limited duty in 2007 with 7 fumbles and three picks in 4 or 5 games. But he did have a canon for an arm, and he's a good guy who isn't afraid to work hard.
If San Fran didn't pick Nate Davis yesterday, I would have loved to see him head to the Bay Area. Initially I thought Arizona might have been a good fit, but they took Tyler Palko out of Pitt last year, so I don't see that happening. I could see Denver as an option, since they only have Orton and Simms on their roster. Maybe Washington takes a chance on him, even though I believe they already have Brennan. You hope to see him stick somewhere though.Comment

I understand why Cameron would want to throw Beck a line, but I don't understand why Beck would go to Baltimore unless that was his only offer. With so many teams having QB issues (Minny, Tampa, Jax, Washington, and SF to name a few off the top of my head) it seems like he could have gone to a team that didn't find its QB of the future in last year's draft.Originally posted by cougjunkie View Post

This may be true. I don't think that it is a bad plan. Collect a paycheck, get to know the ends and outs of the offense, step in when needed, and then retire.
