How long until MLB adds a Japanese umpire?

We've seen the emergence over the past 15 years of Japanese players in MLB. How long until we see a Japanese umpire on the field of an MLB game?

Probably about the same time we see a Japanese apostle.

It probably wouldn't happen unless the Japanese umpire moved here, completed the program at one of the umpire schools (like Evans Academy), and worked his way up through the minors.

But, he's Japanese and there are Japanese players, why would they have do do that. I think as long as he's got a fat ass and poor eyesight, put him in there.
