Weird. In SoCal, they have been running that commercial for weeks (it is funny).

Your filet o fish commercial....I have never seen it.

I wonder if many of these ads are regional? You would think that beer or McDonalds would be national.

The menus are regional, I suppose it follows that the marketing is. For example, I feel certain that you cannot buy sweet tea (pre-sweeted ice tea) anywhere except the south. They market the hell out of the sweat tea angle here and their other big push right now is the filet-o-fish. Not sure if that is national or not. Sounds like it is.

I know I have seen it during other games. It seems like during a sitcom also as I remember my wife making a comment about it, but that could have been a game. It is a good commercial. Does Heineken not do SuperBowl ads? This would have been a good one then.

Heineken had John Turturo in their SB ads. This one was much better.

Jazz shooting 57% from the floor and losing by 20. LOL.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Yes, some of these ads are regional. Especially corporations like McDonalds that tend to have regional menus/promotions they will run ads regionally. Beer commercials are more likely to be purchased on a national level because the beer is going to be the same in California as it is in New York (with maybe a slight % change of alcohol, which essentially doesn't change the way you would market the product). I've seen the Heineken Ad quite a few times on different channels for a month or so.

Nice little run by the Jazz to end the half.

It seems pretty clear that the Jazz will lose this game, win one of two in SLC, and lose the series 4-1.

If you told me before the game that the Jazz would shoot 60% at the half, score 55 points and hold Kobe to 8 points, I would have taken it no questions asked. And yet, the Jazz are still down 11, letting LA shoot 64% from the field AND 64% from the 3.

TNT keeps flashing the Jazz Music Note logo, which isn't officially used. I'd love to see them incorporate that into their uniform design with the blue color scheme.

Here comes the patented Laker dead zone. Instead of closing the game, they put themselves in a corner.

I would be included in that group.

We do get the occasional Jack in the Box ad in the Salt Lake DMA, but those are all likely from National buys with the Utah bleed looked at as "waste".
