    Most Pressure to Win a Title

    This was a topic on Mike & Mike a few days ago. Now that LeBron has won the title, who, in any sport, is under the most pressure to win a title?

    One submission was Tony Romo for the NFL and the NBA fans said Carmello and Dwight Howard. For hockey it is probably Alex Ovetchkin here in Washington.

    Who else do you think now has the most pressure to win a championship?

    Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

      I think that Kevin Durant is going to be on the list. Especially now that he has tasted a Finals. I would add D-Rose to the list, considering the high profile manner in which he is playing in the house that Jordan built.

          I agree on Durrant, especially given that they were close in a number of these games, but completely folded in the last two minutes of game 4 and got blown out in game 5.

              Tiger Woods, by far.

              No other athlete is under more scrutiny. And if he doesn't win another one, his final legacy will be a huge porn-addled, washed-up, has-been, mentally spent asterisk. The final chapter will be one of failure.

              He absolutely has to win another major to be able to rest in peace.

              Nobody sits around debating the legacy of Derrick Rose or Carmelo Anthony. Those guys are clowns, bro.

                  Mostly agree with this. Tony Romo? Does anyone even expect him to make the playoffs? Carmelo Anthony is not even a top 5 NBA player. Rose and Durrant are too young to start questioning.

                          Durant is 23. That is a year older than LBJ was when he got to his first finals. He was under the gun from that point on. I can see the same with Durant. Especially seeing how the Spurs and the Lakers are getting old and lame.

                                                  Too bad there's no Peyton Manning to put on that list. Has Tony Romo ever even won a playoff game? Is Tony Romo a top 3 or even top 5 QB? We also had Dan Marino, Karl Malone, John Stockton and Charles Barkley to kick around. LeBron was the last guy to make fun of in that regard. I think Durant has to be the guy at this point. If he's not already the second best player in the NBA, he'll be there within the next year or two.
