Reports have the Honey Badger entering the draft. A stunning development for a kid that has no real other options.

That said, Janoris Jenkins has seemed to work out in STL. Do you take a chance on the Honey Badger?

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

Yes. And you know what would be a perfect team for him? The Redskins. They could use help in the secondary, but they really need a return guy.

Brandon Banks will have a punt return next preseason to spare his job for another year.

I hope that Monte Ball and Matt Barkley really enjoyed the college experience.

I know they have a rookie salary cap and all, but Barkley still lost himself some money this year. Last year he goes within a few picks of Luck and RG3, now he's a mid first round pick and I can see him getting Brady Quinned. The reality is a lot of teams are going to look at him like they did Quinn and Jimmy Clausen. That wouldn't have been the case last year.

Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

BTW, this year is a terrible year to have the #1 overall pick.

Next year Jadeveon Clowney is probably going to enter the draft and I wonder if people will get excited for a DE as the probably first overall pick -- he's an awesome prospect -- but I don't know if there will be a Clowney sweepstakes.

I think a lot of fans would be excited to get Terrell Suggs, Clowney has similar potential.

He's the best defensive prospect in the past decade. Julius Peppers is the obvious comparison.

McShay's first mock is out. Has Star going #1 overall to the Chiefs and Ziggy going #24 to Indy.

The Niners have something like 13 picks in the 2013 draft. IMO, their biggest need is a young DL player -- either a 3-4 DE or NT. These guys become tougher to get after the first couple rounds. Trade Alex Smith, and their first and second rounders to move up. While it wouldn't have gotten it done last year, this year is a different story. It will probably take more than I mentioned, but Smith and those two picks would be pretty nice.

He has Te'o at #11 to the Bills, I woulda guessed closer to #5.

All 7 of their own picks, Carolina's 3rd round, Indy's 5th, Miami's 6th, and Cincy's 7th, along with two compensatory picks. Any idea where those picks will fall? I think Snyder's deal averages about $3 M/year, and Morgan's around $5.5 M/yr. That might give the team an extra 4th and 6th rounder.
