    Green Jacket 2012

    Par 3 contest under weather delay, but the event is finally on us. Truly the best golf tournament there is IMO, I love watching.

    For any that don't play golf, but love watching Clack-a-lacka is hosting a Masters pick contest in The Golf Thread, feel free to join. Maybe with his permission a mod could move those posts relating only to the pick contest into this thread?

        I think I mentioned this before, but I actually got to watch a practice round at Augusta National - back in '83 - What a golf course

        I may be small, but I'm slow.

        A veteran - whether active duty, retired, or national guard or reserve is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to, "The United States of America ", for an amount of "up to and including my life - it's an honor."

          Will they let the new CEO of IBM, a woman, into their club? If not, how much outrage will there be?

          Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

                I saw the "Tiger or the field, who you taking?" Question on PTI. Seems pretty ridiculous nowadays. Um, I'm taking the field.
                Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

                      They should. It is ridiculous; the outrage should be from IBM in a withdrawal of financial support. How stupid is this policy? Let me answer that for you Floyd: Very, very stupid.

                              No women members at Augusta, Washington still calling their team the Redskins and the smiling Indian mascot for Cleveland are three things in sports I still wonder how they go on.
