Yep they were looking really good. Pressing forward, winning set pieces and getting good chances. Then the unlucky penalty. It was a very questionable decision and against the run of play but it resulted directly from a Bradley giveaway. Good stuff from the US this half. Lots of pressure up top resulting in chances created from takeaways in the attacking third. We did not play poorly tonight but games like this do show our place in the world. Colombia is a top 10 maybe top 5 team in the world. US came out so flat against Costa Rica. First 5 min were awful with almost no possession. Then it seemed a switch flipped and the US has spent ever since around the CR goal, winning a well deserved penalty to go up 1-0.Comment
