What in the world is going on with Boozer? I hope he opts out.

      That was pathetic.

The Jazz can't keep a lead anymore for some reason. The last sequence was strange, too -- letting Minnesota run the game clock down to 2 seconds when they have the lead makes no sense to me. The TWolves could have basically run the clock completely out if they would have shot it a second later and still hit the rim. Why not foul early and create as many possessions as possible?

I don't think there is much difference between being seeded anywhere between 2 and 7 in the West this season, so the loss itself doesn't matter as much as just the poor quality of basketball the Jazz are playing right now.

Wow. That's a brutal loss. I agree there isn't much difference between seeds 2 - 7, but I can't see this Jazz team beating San Antonio or Portland without home court. Everybody else is probably very beatable for Utah, including Denver. I still think the Spurs lock down #2 though, which is bad news for the Jazz.

Jazz fans should be Rockets fans for the rest of the regular season and hope somehow Houston can pull out the 2 seed.

Everybody here is saying they just hope they don't draw the Jazz in the playoffs again.

As a Jazz fan, this stretch has been painfully frustrating to watch. Boozer and Memo have essentially disappeared over the last 5 or 6 games, both shooting a little below 30% I believe. Boozer is driving me ape shit crazy, and as much as I am trying to give him the benefit of the doubt that he isn't 100% healthy, it is hard with as much as he has run his mouth. Dude needs to shut the fuh up and just play.

Right now the Jazz are lacking the toughness/hustle/grit that has made them the Jazz for the last, well, as long as I can remember. Nobody is playing with the passion or the heart that as a Jazz fan makes them fun to watch.

Honestly, part of me right now doesn't care if they slide the the #8 seed and have to deal with the Lakers in round 1. First of all, might as well teach the team a lesson on how important it is to get home-court advantage. Secondly, if you want to win a title this year, you've got to go through LA anyways, so might as well draw them in round 1. Either you win and prove to be legit contenders, or, more likely (I would say 87% more likely) you get your ass handed to you and your season is done, and hopefully you can see what you need to do to make yourselves a legit contender.

Look Minnesota has Kevin Love and if I learned one thing during college basketball 2007-08 season it is that he is a borderline basketball god. You aren't going to beat a team with him on it.

Seriously? I honestly don't see how the Jazz survive the first round against any WC playoff team if they don't have HCA.

If McGrady were healthy, I wonder how good this rockets team could have been. A healthy McGrady isn't going to be on the same level as LeBron, but he is a nice addition that can draw double teams. The Rockets have a nice roster. Watching the Lakers play them last night, I quickly grew tired of Luis Scola. Dude seems to be a mini-thorn in the Lakers side.

Is this the Ewing Theory where the Rockets are actually better without Mcgrady?

Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss

There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Ah, I see. Then in that case, no it is not a Ewing theory, because I am stating that the Rockets would be better WITH a healthy McGrady, not without him.

When I was in SLC I heard some radio guy giving props to Nissalke for how right he was saying the Rockets were a better team without McGrady. They were then discussing this topic for a few minutes.

I think Houston is just a team that plays really well in late February-March. Haven't they done that each of the last 3 years? So this year they showed they could do it with or without TMac.
