If Collie never plays a down in the NFL he is a bust. But expectations are not real high for a 4th or 5th round pick.

I think for a 4th round player he will be alright. He is great route runner and has decent size and will more than likely be matched up vs. safeties or the 3rd or 4th corners on teams. I agree with Junkie in the fact he will be a 3rd or 4th option on the team that picks him. I expect him to average around 20 to 25 catches a year down the road. Probably not year one but I think because he has a really good work ethic he will do O.K. I wouldn't consider that a bust based on where he will get drafted.

As far as Staford and Sanchez, I think Sanchez will have a better career. I think Staford has bust written all over him. If Sanchez doesn't have to start right away, I think he will turn out to be a good Q.B.

I think the "NFL Bust" label depends on where you are taken in the draft.

This is my point.

It isn't a very bold prediction to say that the possible top pick in the draft will not live up to expectations. In fact, it seems to be the safest of all predictions someone can make given that expectations are always very high for the top picks.

This is why I asked what "bust" means. Will Stafford or Sanchez go on to have a Montana or Brady career, multiple Super Bowls, etc? Who knows. Odds are that they will not.

Will they go on to be starters with their teams and win games, eventually make the playoffs, positively impact their franchise? Maybe, and certainly more likely than becoming the next Joe Montana.

I wonder where Sanchez will even wind up. He clearly isn't going to KC anymore. I have read rumors of Indy.....he won't be getting much time under center there, either.

I think being relegated to the clipboard will wind up saving guys like Matt and Mark in the long run, given that the transition to NFL QB is so tough. Then again, look at what Matt Ryan was able to do in his first year. So I guess it isn't impossible.

PS as for collie, I agree that he will likely have a nice little NFL career, nothing amazing, but serviceable. But again, is that really a great "prediction" for someone going in the 4th round?

I see Collie going somewhere between the 4th and 6th round...that's a broad range with a lot of picks, but that's my guess.

And like CJ and HL, I think he'll end up being a serviceable 3rd or 4th WR on a team that gets around 20-25 receptions a year, if that.

I think Sean Smith will have a solid NFL career no matter where he gets picked. Most prognistications have late 1st round/early 2nd round.

I've no idea on where Kruger is being slated,,,my guess would be late 2nd rounder/early 3rd rounder.

I think Travis Bright could be a steal whoever takes him.

With Sean Smith's size and speed, I think if he can pick up the mental part of the NFL he will be an all pro FS. I also think he will sneak in as a late first rounder.
