    MLB ticket sales

During the conference I am at this afternoon the president of Aramark spoke about recreation surviving in the economy. He said they do the food for about 70% of the MLB and on average MLB season ticket sales are down 40%. Yikes, Manny is a fool.

Manny is a fool, but I'd still pay to see him hit. Or, to be more precise, I'll still pay to take Aristides see him hit.

Kind of amuses me that the athlete A worships (Manny) is kind of a punk and the athlete that I worship (Favre) can be annoying at times. No wonder my 9 year old loves A-Rod.

No HFN. YOU'RE the fool. You could be enjoying Skyline Chili, Montgomery Inn BBQ, LaRosa's Pizza or Penn Station Subs at the Great American Ballpark while cheering on the modestly paid Redlegs of Cincinnati. Nope. Instead you decide to become a big gay wad and cheer for the Dodgers and their crappy Aramark Dodger dogs. You could have cheered on David, but you chose Goliath.

Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss

There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

I totally knew you wouldn't be able to resist commenting on that statement of mine.

At least I signed. A part of me really wanted to join up with the Reds, but I knew I would never follow them because their games would all be on in the middle of the day, and I would likely never make it to Great American to see a game.

This was a decision based on my kids, they will be able to watch my team with me, we will be able to make the trip to watch my team play.

When I saw the major league schedule come out I was a little bummed that the Texas Rangers don't have a home game the weekend of the BYU/Oklahoma game.

Not that I'm a Rangers fan, but it's always fun to hit a ballpark I've never been. Course, I've only been to 4.
