    Sad news for BVP.

I feel the same way. He's one of those guys if is on your team you love. When he's beating your team, you want to see him get testicular cancer.

I think I only hated him because he destroyed BYU defenses, and I was jealous of his ability to grow flowing hair.

That's too bad. God speed Mr. Van Pelt.

His boy was quite possibly the most entertaining QB to watch, as far as what he did on the field. The dude was hard-nosed and nails.

When I think of BPV I think of two things. One, drilling Justin Ena and moving him about 5 yards and two, torching BYU through the air in LES. I think they put up 42 in the first half that night. I hated him, but I respected him.

Ditto. The guy was a stud.

BPV was an amazingly crafty QB. I hated losing to him but I couldn't help but admire his amazing abilities.

Sorry to hear about his dad.

Sunshine. That doesn't bring back fuzzy memories. It seemed like he was there forever. Sad to hear about his pops.
