I admittedly didn't read the link, so I don't know if this was mentioned, but the story I read said the video went through a lot of analysis, including overlaying a grid and running the video very slow to determine if Stewart changed direction. The conclusion was that he drove in a straight line until after the accident when he drove to the outside of the track. I thought it was an interesting description of the analysis.

There was also a second video of the accident that the grand jury was able to view.

I don't understand why the fact Ward had enough Mary Jane in his system to impair his judgment has anything to do with the decision not to indict Stewart. Whether his judgment was impaired or just really bad, it doesn't change the fact he walked on a dirt track full of fast moving trucks and Stewart hit and killed him.

This is likely to have a bigger impact on any civil suit that is brought by Ward's family.
