My brother just got a baseball signed by Tommy Hanson for me. He also got Tommy to write "Go Ligers" on it - which happens to be the name of my perpetual keeper baseball team, on which Tommy is one of my key players. (We just keep our teams pretty much intact from year to year, with a 2-round draft each year to account for graduating minor leaguers who haven't already been picked up).
Tommy went to the high school where my brother is a teacher and assistant baseball coach, and they had a camp today with Tommy and some of their other major league graduates (surprisingly, for a high school in the boonies of Redlands/Temecula, they have some really good athletes - including Chris Polk of the U of Washington).
