    Amare to the Jazz?

Boozer, Harpring and the Knicks pick to Phoenix for Amare?

Pres. Monson would never let them trade Harpring.

      LOL!

Man, I'd do it if the Suns would.

Would make the Jazz more exciting, definitely. Would not be enough to be serious contenders, unfortunately. Still one piece away. However, I think the D-Will/Amare tandem is closer to the end goal than the current D-Will/Boozer tandem.

I would definitely do it. I guess the Jazz really think Boozer is gone, so they might as well get something for him while they can.

I would do it sans the NY pick. If it were just the Jazz first rounder, I'd go for it.

And if Caron Butler is indeed on the market, I would make a major play for him.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

I'd do it in a heartbeat. Do you think Amare would want to play for Sloan?

Since we have all of these multi-team trades, just once I want to see a whole team traded. Imagine the Jazz calling the Celtics and offering to trade the whole team.

I feel the same way. I don't know that I would make that trade if we have to give up the Knicks pick as well. Amare's injury history isn't much better than Boozer's, and he isn't a much better defender (though he is a much better athlete). Amare at least has better defensive potential IMO.

I don't think the Suns do it without the pick. They want young talent.

I second Grace's suggestion that you all go after Butler.

Jazz could move Boozer + CJ + Collins for Butler + Darius Songalia + Juan Dixon. I love Butler's game as he gives us a wing hitting his prime who is solid in the mid-range game and can actually play some defense. Jazz have a line-up of:

                  C: Memo/Koufos
                  PF: Millsap/Songalia
                  SF: Butler/Kirilenko/Harpring
                  SG: Brewer/Korver
                  PG: Williams/Price

Or, if you moved Memo to keep Boozer, Memo + Harpring + NY Pick for Butler + Songalia works. The Jazz are able to have a lineup of:

                  C: Boozer/Koufos
                  PF: Millsap/Songalia
                  SF: Butler/AK
                  SG: Brewer/Korver/CJ
                  PG: Deron/Price

The second deal sure looks a lot more appealing as a Jazz fan. Maybe even Memo and the Knicks pick straight up for Butler works as well. Zards fan are welcome to comment on those moves.

If they went for Butler, I'd try and keep Boozer. Deron, Butler, Boozer is my group, and I try and fill in from there with people who play the 2 and 5 spots a little more traditionally than the current incumbents.

Boozer and Amare are rather similar players. Neither play defense but both are effective offensively. Throwing in the Knicks pick which could be a top 5 pick makes no sense.

I would very much like a deal for Butler but the Booz/Amare deal makes little sense to me.

I would take Amare over Boozer if it didn't cost too much. The NY pick is costing too much.
