What's going to be cool is when we get see the rematch of Arizona playing the team that Brian Johnson starts for.

I've got the Saints defense in my fantasy league this week and I really need a win. I would rather see Max have a great game, but there will be a small silver lining when he performs like every other rookie in NFL history (including Peyton Manning) on a bad team has performed.

The only situation where a rookie NFL QB can succeed is on a team with an awesome defense, running game, and O-line like Roethlisburger had.

I think Sam Bradford might be the other exception. He has looked pretty good so far.

Bronco was so lucky to have Beck then Hall, and Unga, Collie, Pita, etc. It reminds me of Frank Arnold and Ainge, Kite, Roberts, Durrant, etc.

Looking back to the '80s, Marino is the classic exception. He had over 300 yards and three TDs his first start in the NFL and was the Pro Bowl starter after his first complete season. lol.

or Flaco had or Ryan had...Strange that Marino did pretty well but I think he is some sort of Roman mythological god so it isn't fair to compare.

Sneakily, through the first quarter of the season, STL has one of the best scoring defenses in the NFL. They are in the bottom third in rushing offense, though.
