Would the rumored deal to New Jersey be enough in return for Denver? Does it help define the moves NJ will make in the future?

Denver receives Derrick Favors, Troy Murphy ($11.9 M expiring), Kris Humphries ($3.2 M expiring), and at least one future first round pick

After the expiring contracts come off the books, Denver will have only $32.5 M in committed salary to 6 players: Billups, Harrington, Lawson, Balkman, Birdman, and Favors. They have team options on both Lawson and Billups, so they could decline Chauncey's $14.2 M and really blow things up.
Depending on what type of protection is or is not in place on the traded pick(s), I've got to think Denver would push to get Terrence Williams in the trade in place of Kris Humphries. It would be better to get a young talent on a manageable salary that plays a position of need than to clear $3 M in cap space. But if the move goes down and Denver ends up with two future firsts and their protection is limited, Favors + big cap space + two firsts is about as good as you can expect for a star with only one year left on his deal.

New Jersey's team would have $54 M in salary committed to the following roster: Carmelo, Devin Harris, Travis Outlaw, Anthony Morrow, Jordan Farmar, Brook Lopez, Terrence Williams, Damion James, Johan Petro, Stephen Graham.
Not a lot of size, but they'd certainly have a lot of dynamic options along the perimeter, solid outside shooting, and depth at the 1-3 spots on the floor. Add in one of the games top young centers and I think moving Favors for Anthony certainly helps define the team more than where they currently stand after getting shutout this off-season. But having to give up picks while also losing their cap space certainly handicaps them in terms of being able to solidify that front line. And that team has the makings of a disaster on defense if Harris, Morrow, and Anthony are on the floor together.
