I’ve been talking about the Guenther/Peterka line here a bunch.

We’ll they have been struggling some, so tonight they change it up and move Peterka to a different line midway through the game, and it worked out well for him as he scored a goal.

It will be interesting to see if they play much together from here on.

Another 2026 free agent off the board. Adrian Kempe signs a 8-year extension with the Kings. Free agency this summer isn't going to have much in the way of players.

The first 20 games of this NHL season has been so damn weird.

The Mammoth catch fire. Everyone starts saying they are the real deal and then Cooley signs his long term deal. Everything is at a high for the Mammoth. Leading the central after beating the Jets. Then they fall apart, with their only wins being against the Sabres.

Blackhawks still in the playoff hunt.

Every single team in the East is in the playoff hunt.

The Ducks being at the top of the Pacific despite having some really ugly underlying metrics.

Oilers sucking and also having a really bad goal differential.

Every free agent is basically getting locked up except for an aging Artemi Panarian and Alex Tuch. That may be your headliners for free agency.

Gavin McKenna is sucking it up in college hockey and the clear consensus Tier 1 player of the upcoming draft may fall out of that spot.

Last night's game was awful. The Mammoth had it won but let the Ducks score with 4 seconds left and then Veggie gifted them the overtime winner by being out in the middle of the ice when they scored.

Gotta say that was about as impressive as you will see for an empty netter. Hat trick for Bedard. The flames suck but this is still fun.

Bedard and Celebrini both with hat tricks on the same night. Celebrini and Bedard currently tied for 2nd in goals at 13. Both are top 5 in points. They are 19 and 20. They are the future of the league. It will be the new Crosby/Ovechkin rivalry of the league.

Absolutely mother fucking bullshit. Clear penalty on a breakaway against Bedard. He calls the official on his fucking bullshit and they call a penalty on Bedard. They fucked us over.

Bullshit waived off icing on the first goal by Seattle

Missed elbow to the head of Burakovsky that knocked him out of the game. Should have been a 5 minute major and a suspension.

Phantom penalty on Nazar to get the second goal.

The worst officiated hockey game I’ve ever seen.

I’m still mad and I blame this debacle of a game on that piece of shit official that is a horrible person for this game. I hope for bad things to happen to him for the rest of his life. He is worse than Nate Cooper.

Finally, Arty’s first goal and an amazing assist by Bedard.

I’m still effing pissed though about the officials effing us over.

Really nice to see the Blackhawks win again, and for Bedard to have a huge game for 2 goals and 2 assists. Tied for 2nd in points with Celebrini now.

Fun game last night against the Knights. The Blackhawks are clearly a different team. They were competitive against the Knights, including times when they were outplaying the Knights. He only had the 1 goal, but that was one of Bedard's best games of the season. He was consistently driving the play and putting pressure on the Knights. His one goal was a thing of beauty. Nice to get a point out of the game, but I really would have preferred that they didn't allow the late goal for it to go to overtime.

Hart looked sharp in his first game back after 2 years away from the NHL. I don't blame the Knights for taking a risk on him with their cap situation. If he can provide that type of goaltending for 2 million, he is going to be a huge boost to the team.
