Charles Abouo has been playing for the Ivory Coast, game 1 he had started and played 16 minutes against Turkey. He had 2 steals, and 2 rebounds, with no points

Game 2 against China was a little better 16 minutes off the bench he scored 8points and grabbed 7 boards.

In some Spurs news:

Tiago Splitter had 13 and 4 in his first game, then followed that up with 16 and 4 in game 2.


Looks like Mark Grace already posted but Tomic has been playing solid as well.

I haven't watched any of the tournament. I caught a few of the tune up games and they were almost unwatchable. The play was sloppy. It looked like the Schick Rookie game out there.

There are not many superstars there. Outside of the US the best player has been Luis Scola. Patty Mills has been solid for Australia and Spanoulis has killed it for Greece.

Yeah it seems as though every country's stars took this summer off. I imagine that next year they'll be back as they tune up for the 2012 Olympics. I just can't get into the international game. The officials too seem to be all over the place with their whistles, at least in the tune up games I watched.
