Preseason football only earns two alligators with me over No Football. I do like watching the new rookies or players that have moved to new teams.

      However:

Preseason Football >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Regular Season Baseball.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

Dennis Pitta is getting his ass handed to him tonight. He has looked awful as a blocking tight end.

Watched the 3rd quarter of Panthers-Ravens at the gym. Sloppy, unappealing football. I would've preferred a MLB or soccer game instead of that.

I heard on the radio a few days ago that Freddie is with Minnesota now.

Kelly Talevou and Paul Kruger met at the QB on a sack in the 4th. Talevou had another sack as well later on that drive. He's become a pretty big dude.

Kelly Talavou actually played very well for the Ravens. Paul Kruger looked really bad.

Todd Watkins had a nice reception for the Raiders he is currently their 3rd wideout. He also had 3 tackles on special teams.

David Nixon had 3 tackles for Oakland as well.

Manase Tonga looked really solid at fullback, I think he has a legit chance to make the team.

Glad to see Nixon back there. Hopefully he makes the roster. I couldn't believe he got cut after the fall camp and pre-season he did. He lit it up.

Watkins has been awesome on ST. He played well on ST last year.

You know what would have been nice to know yesterday? That John Beck is no longer a Raven, that's what. I lost nearly an hour of my life last night watching the second half of a boring pre-season game to see if he'd see the field and it wasn't until well into the 4th quarter that I heard an announcer say that the Ravens only had 3 qb's in camp. How long ago did Beck go to the Skins?

Last week, the good news for Baltimore is the Corner they traded Beck for looked very good last night.

Beck should see action tonight for the Skins.
