    Pitta, former BYU walk on

Here's a good article linked from the Ravens on Pitta's first encounter with Beck and since then:

Dude was a total stud. He'll be missed.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Nice find. The Ravens will be TE deep next year, Heaps, Pitta, Dickson.

Also are the Ravens the new LDS NFL team to cheer for? Haloti, Beck, Kruger, Pitta, Heaps.

Yup. The Ravens should be scary next year. I think it's going to be the Ravens and Jets going toe to toe.

My little brothers is a Ravens fan -- he was pretty stoked when they drafted Pitta. Our uncle and auntie live in B-More and have season tickets, so he's gone out with my old man to see them play.

Did they address their wide receiver issues? They were pretty thin there last year.

Knock it off. This board has enough problems without a dose of middle-age lechery.

Didn't they sign Boldin from the Cards?

yeah, that sounds vaguely familiar. I should pay more attention.

Don't forget David Reed. He was the real key to improving their WR corp

John Beck was on the radio today. He said that Harbaugh loves Pitta and he was going off about how good he was.

Also said that he was standing next to Harbaugh at practice one day and David Reed went up and caught a ball and the coach said "This guy has the strongest hands I have seen out of a rookie"

Lots of LDS players and guys with Utah ties. JBs best friend on the team is Kelly Talavou he said they BBQ and hang out all the time.

Also JB is having his golf tournament at Red LEdges in Heber coming up, he has Michael Oher, Todd Heap, Joe Flacco, Haloti Ngata, and quite a few other guys coming.
