Man, that was an impressive game yesterday. He seems to have picked up his game to a WHOLE new level..

He sure is fun to watch and his unselfishness is refreshing, but he also can take over a game...

Last nights game was pretty boring.. I feel asleep on the couch.. But the Cavs did win..


However, I am becoming more and more concerned with LeBron's elbow problem.. But we'll see if he actually mans up and plays through it as it gets more and more sore throughout the playoffs..

That game last night was ridiculous. I don't know who I hate more Joey Crawford or Ken Mauer. Mauer called those back to back fouls on Brad Miller guarding Shaq and then on Noah. Then they wiped away Rose's and-one opportunity. That changed the momentum in the 4th when the Cavs went forever without a bucket. Still if Chicago had made their FTs they would have won. I hope Del Negro stays. I think he's a good coach. I don't think Paxon and Reinsdorf do anything for that team. They need some outside shooting in the worst way.

We'll see how Bron Bron's bow is. I hope he's not hurt and can go 100% throughout. I don't want people to argue that the Cavs would have won it all if LeBron wasn't hurt. Now the playoffs begin for them with Boston and then likely Orlando. I think the Cavs could be beat up and tired by the time the Finals roll around. I really don't see the Lakers struggling much in the 2nd round or even the WCF, though San Antonio would be a battle just because it always is.

I agree, those foul were horrible. I know many Cavs fans who felt uncomfortable from all those bad calls..

Boston would have won that game but for two things:

1. Allowing Rasheed Wallace to ever step foot on the court;

2. The Mo Williams dunk on Paul Pierce. Huge momentum changer in the middle of the 3rd quarter when Boston was up by 11.

I think Boston can still take this series. Boston matches up well with any team defensively as long as Wallace sits on the end of the bench. Cleveland still has the tendency on consecutive possessions to run the LeBron 1 vs. 5 offense. Orlando killed Cleveland last year because of this and Boston can do the same thing with the Perkins-Garnett duo.

Boston misses Leon Powe and Eddie House. Powe got hurt and went to another team. But I can't figure out why Ainge traded House for...Nate Robinson? WTF? Ainge has drafted well, but has otherwise made some very questionable moves (the Garnett trade doesn't count, Kevin McHale, Ainge's buddy, gift wrapped Garnett for Ainge). Rasheed Wallace has been a total disaster.

BTW, after watching Rondo the other night, I'm convinced that Rondo needs to at least enter the discussion regarding the best PG in the league due to how well that guy defends. During the regular season, he scored five PPG less than Deron Williams and about .7 assists less than Williams (Rondo was fourth in the league in assists), but he also led the league in steals. His major weakness is his lack of an outside shot. But he penetrates the lane as well as any PG in the league with the possible exception of Derrick Rose. During the playoffs he's averaging about 17 pts. 11 assists and 6 boards.

(BTW, I fully understand that if either the Jazz GM or Hornets GM called Ainge with a straight up trade for Williams/Paul for Rondo, Ainge would say yes before the other GM could finish the sentence, I'm just saying that when considering Rondo's whole game, he's not that far behind guys like Williams and Paul.)
