At least he didn't get busted with a beer goggles conquest.

The outfit that sparked his comments...Originally posted by RC Vikings View Posthttp://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/0..._n_473491.html
For his comments about Hannah Storm. I always enjoyed watching her on Sportscenter on Sunday mornings and now because of Tony she's going to be wearing some frumpy clothes. Damn that Tony.

I'm surprised all he did was criticize her outfit. I've heard Kornheiser talk about a lot of women over the years, and I always got the impression he was a bit of a perv. So naturally I would have thought this was a sexual harassment thing.Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

My vote is Pat Forde.Originally posted by RC Vikings View PostI still wonder how much beer Steve Philips had in him to go down that road. Salisbury, Reynolds, Philips, you could almost start a game of "Who's the next ESPN guy to go down".

Tony K calling someone out for their fashion?
I think she has a cool mod squad vibe going on. She should get some credit for trying. IMO, it isn't the skirt that would present the challenge....she is basically exposing a very challenging area....the knee. There isn't much you can do with the knee in this situation and the boots basically accent the issue by ending right at the knee. I kind of wonder if she would have been better served going with some boots that did not go up so high, showing a bit more leg/calf.
The colors definitely pop, but not sure it merits calling her out on a sports talk show. Leave that stuff to Coju and Joan Rivers.
Sheesh, no wonder women are paranoid about their bodies. Tough crowd!
In fairness, why no mention of that awful suit next to her? Nice baggy, poorly tailored pants. And nice 4-button suit coat. Don't get me started on the shoes....Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

Getting suspended for calling someone out for fashion? the WP is PC out of control. When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.

those kinds of comments can be career killers. He wasn't suspended for saying "I didn't like Hannah's clothes." He was suspended for saying that her skirt is too short for someone her age and for opining that her clothes were snug like a sausage casing.Originally posted by SeattleUte View Post

My guess is that a young associate at any office publicly sharing similar opinions about female coworkers would have a very limited future.
He should save the disparaging comments about women for the locker room, for his stag fishing trips, or for General Conference.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

Surely you know the difference between sharing such sentiments about femaile co-workers and what Tony Kornheiser was doing. Come on. This is bullshit. And as you know, I'm very pro-woman.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View Postthose kinds of comments can be career killers. He wasn't suspended for saying "I didn't like Hannah's clothes." Please elaborate on how that's different. I'm very interested.Originally posted by SeattleUte View PostSurely you know the difference between sharing such sentiments about femaile co-workers and what Tony Kornheiser was doing. Come on. This is bullshit. And as you know, I'm very pro-woman.

For starters, Hanna Storm is a celebrity. Her personal presentation is part of what she peddles, and should be as open to critique as a lawyer's closing argument, a coach's play calling, or her sports knowledge. Get real. Second, celebrities are treated specially in all kinds of legal situations for obvious reasons. Third, employment settings give rise to a whole separate set of issues and problems, as creekster and 3D well know.Originally posted by beelzebabette View PostPlease elaborate on how that's different. What if Kornheiser had said that Obama's suit was an embarrassment? Would he be suspended? What's the difference? This is sexism pure and simple and all women should be pissed. When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.
