Bryce Harper: Future LDS #1 MLB Draft Pick

Bryce Harper is playing for COllege of Southern Nevada who is actually in the same region as SLCC and CEU.

My nephew pitched against him over the weekend and gave up a bomb from Harper that he says has not landed yet. Harper hit 4 homeruns during the 4 game series he is now batting .431 with 12 homeruns and 40 rbis.

Everyone on CEUs team said he is a total dick and that they were up 13-2 in the last inning of one game and he is throwing behind runners and trying to show off his gun. They also said that he has a routine longer than Nomars when he steps in to the box.

College of Southern Nevada plays at SLCC on May 7th and 8th (Doubleheaders both days) if any of the Utah locals want to see him in person.

"The Makeup: This should not be underrated. It's impossible to find any talent evaluator who isn't blown away by Harper's ability on the field, but it's equally difficult to find one who doesn't genuinely dislike the kid. One scout called him among the worst amateur players he's ever seen from a makeup standpoint, with top-of-the-scale arrogance, a disturbingly large sense of entitlement, and on-field behavior that includes taunting opponents. "He's just a bad, bad guy," said one front-office official. "He's basically the anti-Joe Mauer." How this plays into the negotiation or future evaluation is yet to be determined, as history has shown us that the bigger talent a player is, the more makeup issues teams will deal with. I posted about this earlier in the thread about how he is such a cock and was snap throwing down to 2nd in the last inning of a game they lead by 10 runs. Also his pre-atbat routine would make Nomar blush. He was also talking crap to CEUs catcher saying stuff like:

"If i wanted to see this shitty of pitching i would have stayed in high school"
