  • SportsCenter has become unwatchable

Can't take it. Maybe I am late to this. Stuart Scott is not good, and finds himself too clever. blehck.

It's been unwatchable for years. I don't see why people would even watch it when you can go to espn.com and quickly watch the segments you are interested in and not have to sit through the other crap they talk about.
"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

I don't think I have watched as I used to in years either. But I finished swimming earlier than usual and was able to sit down and catch it.

I prefer the sports news program on Fox Sports now. They're low-key, and they do a much better job showing NHL and international soccer highlights.

Stuart Scott is as cool as the other side of the pillow. Booya! Holla at a brotha when you see him throw it down!

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

            Hear the drummer get wicked!

I haven't watched SportsCenter as my source of news in years. I will catch one now and then, but I am all about local sports....all things Lakers, Dodgers, and SC.

I lost interest right around the time SportsCenter decided that they wanted to start pretending that NASCAR was cool. Also, they started asking Linda Cohn to do full-body pantsuit shots standing in front of an open set.

I usually just watch ESPNews. Although after big sporting events I will flip to Sportscenter for the in depth coverage.

I don't think I have watched Sportscenter in about 3-4 years now. It is unwatchable and has been for a long time.

SC may be unwatchable, but the This is SportsCenter commercials are often very good. I think the newest one with John Clayton is fantastic. Though as a Seattle boy, I would have figured him more into PJ or at least the Foo Fighters.

And that niche market is why they continue to labor in obscurity.

There's been this rumor for years that he has some ponytail/skullet. Is that his real hair in the commercial, or are they just making the commercial because of the urban legend?
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

                          Is this a real question?
