Can't take it. Maybe I am late to this. Stuart Scott is not good, and finds himself too clever. blehck.

It's been unwatchable for years. I don't see why people would even watch it when you can go to espn.com and quickly watch the segments you are interested in and not have to sit through the other crap they talk about.Originally posted by Coach McGuirk View PostCan't take it. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

I don't think I have watched as I used to in years either. But I finished swimming earlier than usual and was able to sit down and catch it.Originally posted by Eddie Jones View PostIt's been unwatchable for years. I prefer the sports news program on Fox Sports now. They're low-key, and they do a much better job showing NHL and international soccer highlights."I don't know the origin of said bitch booming."-Art Vandelay

Stuart Scott is as cool as the other side of the pillow. Booya! Holla at a brotha when you see him throw it down!"They're good. They've always been good" - David Shaw.
Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

I haven't watched SportsCenter as my source of news in years. I will catch one now and then, but I am all about local sports....all things Lakers, Dodgers, and SC.
I lost interest right around the time SportsCenter decided that they wanted to start pretending that NASCAR was cool. Also, they started asking Linda Cohn to do full-body pantsuit shots standing in front of an open set.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

That was great.Originally posted by Art Vandelay View PostSC may be unwatchable, but the This is SportsCenter commercials are often very good. I think the newest one with John Clayton is fantastic. Though as a Seattle boy, I would have figured him more into PJ or at least the Foo Fighters.

And that niche market is why they continue to labor in obscurity.Originally posted by BoylenOver View PostI prefer the sports news program on Fox Sports now. They're low-key, and they do a much better job showing NHL and international soccer highlights.

There's been this rumor for years that he has some ponytail/skullet. Is that his real hair in the commercial, or are they just making the commercial because of the urban legend?Originally posted by Art Vandelay View PostSC may be unwatchable, but the This is SportsCenter commercials are often very good. Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

Is this a real question?Originally posted by Color Me Badd Fan View PostThere's been this rumor for years that he has some ponytail/skullet. There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock
