I am glad the Halos didn't give up the house to get him. But now where to go? So far, I am not liking the Angels off season moves, which are basically letting players go, and resigning Abreu

I don't think the Dodgers have done that much

I may be small, but I'm slow.

Great off season. No mater what happens from hear out, I think the boys in blue will be taking a step back. Unless some pitchers out there are available that we don't know about.

Finally I think I can get excited about the Mariners season again.

The Dodgers have let the local media in LA (Fox Sport Radio) in on the little secret...

With the McCourt divorce pending, there would be no Free Agent spending.

A nice kick in the balls to all of us.

The Dodgers don't need to spend money on free agents right now. They were the best team in the NL last year and I'm not sure that is going to change this year.

Felix and Wells? That's a one-two punch! They just need to find a bat now. They won't have both Hernandez and Wells after this next season, but for $8MM - totaly worth it.

If the Dodgers win the 2010 NL West (no ties), I will use the Dodger logo of your choice as my avatar until they are eliminated from the playoffs. Should they win the 2010 World Series, I will keep it for the entire month of October 2010.

If they do not win the NL West outright (no ties, no wildcards), then you will use the Atlanta Braves logo of my choice as your avatar from the day they are mathematically eliminated until one week after the end of the World Series.

If you care to take a dare I'll make a bet with you. Game?

I am fine with them not making any moves on offense so far this year. I see them getting a good deal on a decent 2nd baseman. If the they don't, they have Dewitt or De Jesus that can play that position. Had De Jesus not broken his leg and missed the entire season he would have had an even better chance as the every day 2nd baseman. The fact is, the Dodgers only have 2 starters that are worth a damn right now and one of those guys fell of the face of the earth after the all-star break so unless they find pitchers 3 through 5 the Dodgers will have a difficult time winning the NL West.

You seem to have me confused with a Dodgers fan. Why would I make a bet that, if I won, I would have to look at an ugly blue Dodgers logo. That isn't winning at all.

Rumor is that the A's are about to get involved after this deal and swap Brett Wallace for Michael Taylor. Not sure how I feel about the trade, unless the A's are certain that Wallace's glove is not going to play at 3B or the A's believe that Fox is the answer at 3B.
