UFC 106 Ortiz vs Griffen II

Main Card just starting. The prelims were on Spike again, but I missed them.

The Sadollah/Baroni (sp on both) was fantastic. Sadollah did everything he could to put Baroni down and just couldn't do it, but he landed some great shots.

I was pulling for Rumble Johnson against Koscheck, but it was not to be. Still a decent fight. Too many stopages for eye pokes and whatnot.

The Griffin/Ortiz fight went as well for Dana White as it could have. He'll be able to get a few more fights out of each of them leading up to a third fight between the two.

Overall, it was a good card. A few of the prelim fights were pretty good. One of the fights had a guy get two points taken away in one round. He ended up on his knees getting pounded and finally tapped after he was busted open badly.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

Very good card last night. Little Nog looked great, Koscheck is a little bitch that knee did not even hit him, not to mention if it did it grazed his right eye and he was holding his left eye.

Tito looked good with his ground and pound but was slow and sloppy in the standup.

      Good night of fights.

Was Tito's significant other in the crowd?

Yeah, that whole situation with Koscheck's eye was pretty ridiculous. I think Rumble caught him before that and he was nervous, took Rumble's knee mistake and milked it.

I might just be the dumbest guy on earth, but I was totally baffled when I saw the two guys, with almost identical names, stand right next to each other, looking just alike. I thought, "holy shit, this is two different guys and they are twin brothers!" No one I was watching with knew about the twin either. I don't know where we have all been, but we had a good laugh over it. I seriously had no clue. He looked great though.

I just saw this, you are always invited I am sorry. For some reason I thought you were out of town or something (China?). When these shows get closer just know that I will have them on and just plan on it.

Plan on Decembrer 12th for the next one. Great Card too, BJ vs Diego and my main man (and facebook friend) Clay Guida vs Kenny Florian.

As well as Cheick Kongo (the guy with the worst groudn game in UFC history) vs Frank Mir (the guy with maybe the best ground game in UFC history at least for a heavyweight).

                      Awesome card.

                        Will do.

Guida vs Florian is going to make me sad. I really like both of those guys.

That fight should be epic. Guida will press the entire fight. Kenny gets to counter and get technical. Should be a fun one to watch. I think Florian wins by decision.

Kongo is big but I think he gets submitted in the first round by Mir.

Penn submits Diego in round 3.

Guida will never put KenFlo away. Guida will turtle the whole fight, but KenFlo will inflict more damage and get he decision. Kongo. When will people tire of watching a freakishly large man get beat? Penn/Sanchez. The prodigy has disappointed me once too often, and Diego has looked awesome his last few fights. I predict that Diego scores the KTFO.
