To Hell with the Yankees once again

    Tex to the Yankees.

Here is to a massive flop from their organization. I would love to see them fail.

Another good guy who ends up selling his soul to the evil one. It's a shame that he chose to be hated, rather than liked.

And a big "AMEN!" to seeing the Yankees fail.

I posted about this in the appropriate forum. I don't really care that he signed with the Yankees. I just wanted him to not sign with the Angels.

So can the Yankees still get Manny? I might start cheering for the Yankees next year.

Yes I made a mistake where I posted. Either way it is bad for baseball what the Yankees are doing this off season.

If they do I might stop watching baseball.

Don't worry about HL ... I moved it to the right forum for you.

I was just joking on that one. I really don't care if it is posted in the wrong place.

I don't see a problem with what the Yankees are doing because it creates opportunities elsewhere. Eventually these players are going to block MLB ready prospects and smart teams will be able to get those players for cheap. I have never been an advocate of a salary cap in baseball. I just think they need a higher luxury tax and more revenue sharing.

I would hate to see Manny go to the Yankees; however, just to see the battle between Manny and the Yankee front office about Manny having to cut his hair would be very entertaining.

I could see Manny asking for a term in the contract to keep it.

I could too, but as long as George Steinbrenner is alive, he will be inflexible about his policy of clean shaven and no long hair.

Joe Torre had the same policy, that seemed to work out well.

Well, Torre doesn't sign the checks.

I love how in a very poor economy where people are really struggling, the Yankees find a way to hand out not one, but two $160 million dollar contracts.

Yup, God bless the Yankees. Seriously, I hope they miss the post-season again this year.
