What is wrong wtih Daniel Coats?

I watched most of the Bengals/Ravens game today and he is a nice looking player at the pro level. Runs nice routes, gets open and has Roberto Durand hands. Dropped two passes today that hit him right in the hands that would certainly have been touchdowns. He was very, very nearly the goat in a game that the Bengals had to score on the final possession to win. Did he injure a hand? He always seemed to have soft hands and his game looks to be very good otherwise. It was puzzling.

That last drop was bad. He just gave up on the ball when he heard footsteps. With Coats it seems all mental. He'll go on a streak where he catches four or five, then he'll drop one and he's done for a few games.
