Mauer should be the AL MVP. Not only does he have better offensive numbers than Teixiera, he also plays a premium defensive position. Getting the numbers that Mauer is putting up from the catcher position is crazy. Even if the offense numbers were even, which they are not, it should go to Mauer.

Mauer was screwed out of the MVP once, he shouldn't be screwed again.

You can't go wrong in the NL Cy Young, but I give the nod to Lincecum over Carpenter based mostly on innings pitched and then the K number as well.

Greinke has to be AL Cy Young and the ROYs are thin in both leagues.
      I'm like LeBron James.

Except Carpenter was hurt for a bunch of games at the beginning of the season. That's the reason for having fewer innings pitched and fewer Ks (he would still be behind Lincecum in Ks even without the injury though). I just find ERA and wins to be the most important stats for Cy Young.

Wins is the least important stat, I actually agree with MP funk on this one. Look at quality starts over wins. The Giants have the worst offense in baseball that is not Lincecums fault.

                Quality Starts:

                Lincecum: 26
                Wainwright: 24
                Carpenter: 22

Pablo Sandoval: .330, 23 HRs, 88 RBIs, 44 doubles (1st in the majors), .385 OBP, .935 OPS with zero protection.

Matt Kemp: .301, 26 HRs, 100 Rbis, 34 SBs, .356 OBP, .853 OPS, hitting in a lineup with Manny.

Kemp has also struck out 40 more times than Pablo.
