Very hard pre-conference schedule. But they are definitely down this year. After the SDSU loss on Tuesday my computer model had them ranked at 56. So they are a solid club, but not great. They remind me a little of Utah this year. Both at times will play really well, but then they also will have major lapses like losing to SDSU.

Is LMU about the only remaining challenge in conference? Not saying a bonehead loss isn't a possibility but the chances of going without a loss appear to be increasingly good.

I would have LMU on the road, Pepperdine at home, and Portland on the road as all about the same probability of a loss: somewhere between 7%-9%. Probability you lose at least one of those matches is in the lowish 20 percents.

They did not play well at all ... passing was off and I think Eppoch was off too (and she's been great most of the season ... I think she's been playing like a top 5 setter this year ... not as good as Minnesota's setter but quite good).
