The team was flat all game. Not what I was expecting, and it's too bad this team ended an incredible regular season on this note. Best of luck to the Lady Cougars at the tournament.

Right, they likely will end up 6-7 in RPI. Possibly 5th. They are 3-0 versus top 25 and will end up between 11-0 and 13-0 against top 50 RPI. So I think their RPI and seed will be really highly correlated; unless the committe penalizes them for the injury. So 6-8; remember this isn't like basketball: seeds are just 1-16 and everyone else is unseeded

You’re saying they’re a low to mid 2 seed. Gotcha.

Nice, 4 seed; that's a fair seed for BYU. not surprisingly, Utah could be the second round match (travel distance matters for the first two rounds).

The loss to LMU certainly rattles the confidence of the team, or I would think so. Hope they can make it out of Provo.

I think the team is about 2 points per set worse without Miller (my range is like 1-3). That's a guess but I think in the ball park. Home court advantage is roughly worth 1 point per set on average, and may be worth more like 2 for BYU given altitude, etc (I should try to estimate this). Given that, losing Miller is like losing HCA; Or a different frame: they become like about the 10th ranked team, playing at home. I think final 8 is all one could reasonably expect. Final 4 would be a really nice outcome and a bit surprising, and just a sweet 16 wouldn't be surprising. Losing in the round of 32 would be a bad outcome.
