Xc no question. They won’t win in track, not it will interesting for them to actually have a conference championship meet. Haven’t had one of those in a long time for track.

XC being the first sport of the season to have a championship, so start the Big 12 with a bang. Then reallt cool if soccer follows it up. By the way, according to the current RPI the WCC is a stronger league this year in women's soccer than the Big 12. BYU at #13 would tip the scales the other way.

If they don’t win it the first year in xc i could see it happening year 2. Soccer does have the next best chance, after that?? Maybe gymnastics?

Get rid of Oklahoma and Byu is the top ranked gymnastics team in the conference , right ahead of Iowa state.

I didn't see "Not football" listed as a choice...

I wish they would bring back wrestling (they wont!). The B12 has some great teams. Nowhere near the level of the B10 but OSU, and ISU put wrestlers in the NCAA finals

That’s what I voted, too. I don’t see any other that’s a close second, either. All of the others will exceed expectations if they win any, ever.

Hey, I made s as good case for gymnastics. But that first year with Oklahoma still in the conference, no chance.

Oops, I misread it as national championship instead of conference championship. My answer stays the same, but BYU should be competitive in conference for several other sports.

Big 12 coaches pick BYU to win the league in women's soccer.

It really depends on the calendar. Which championship is awarded first. XC is on Oct 28. Soccer finishes the regular season on Oct 23 but the tournament doesn't finish till Nov 14. Football is Nov 25, with the Championship game on Dec 2. Women's Vball wont be decided till December and they will go up against last year's national champs, Texas.
