  • Is Contador clean?

And I don't mean personal hygiene, because anyone who has ridden 5 hours in the heat knows the answer to THAT question.

Seriously. Here is a 135 pound gazelle who just annilhilated the worlds best time trial specialists, many of whom are carrying 30-35 more pounds of muscle in their legs than him. The hill halfway through the ITT could certainly account for some of the time that he made on them. But looking at the time splits he was already destroying the competition well before the hill.

I would love to believe that he is clean, but yesterday's stage made me awfully suspicious.

And he does have a bit of a history no? Wasn't he involved in the Operation Puerto sting? Anytime someone can ride away from the best climbers in the world and make them look like they're moving backwards I have to wonder. But the Astana guys are getting tested like crazy so ...

Hard to say. I thought the ITT result was pretty remarkable. He really did look amazingly strong. He was implicated in the SPanish drug scandal but was never caught doping nor suspended. I hope he is clean. But note that DiLuca wasnt busted ofr giro until tghis week, 2 months later. SO I guess we hope for the best burt wait for the results.
      PLesa excuse the tpyos.

Quit being a Lance honk. Just because Contador is blowing Lance away doesnt mean he his dirty.

*Disclaimer I have no idea what I am talking about.

It's hard not to wonder, given the results so far and how he is blowing people away. Winning the ITT was quite remarkable.

I guess I'm just pissed he attacked the other day, bringing the Schlecks along, leaving Kloden in his dust, and putting LA back into 4th (now 3rd). What was he thinking?
            Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

He was thinking "I'm El Pistolero, dammit, and I am NOT going to wait for that prima donna American or that lead-legged German when I can spit out these schleck boys like so much chaff on the road."

To be honest, I am just guessing.

Do you know if he requires the ladies to refer to him as "El Pistolero." If so, I think that strengthens your case.

Many of us think that Lance probably cheated back in the day. However, I think this year he's made a lot of people reconsider that assumption.
