ANyone else following these at all?

Valverde in the Giro in third o fourth place. Again. The guy seems to have been right-on-the-edge of winning in just about all of grand tours. He and NIbali have not been playing nice. The italians think Valverede is a putz but Valverde's costa Rican teamamte AMador is now in pink, so maybe Valverde knew what he was up to.

Meanwhile, in the Golden State, it is an interesting ride. A guy I dont know much about is the leader (Alaphillipe). Today is the ITT in Folsom, however, but it is not very long (12.something miles). It is the same course Wiggo won on a couple years back. It starts about now but I will be primarily interested in seeing how Phinney does as it may show if he is back from his injuries.
    PLesa excuse the tpyos.

I've been watching the final 15-20km each night both are interesting. I'm trying to figure out what Wiggins is doing in the TOC. He's an hour back. Is he just there for fun?

"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

        He's also on Team Wiggins

Maybe the ATOC paid him a few to show up and generate buzz

yes, but I think that is a vanity team and he is really working wiht the British Federation. BUt I havent really followed it that closely. Either wya, he seems to be using this as a way to stay fit, but not kill himself. He fancies himself a track guy now, I think. But I really dont know.

            Giro :yikes:

Krujikisiajdk;asjd;fjk crashes on stage 19 and doens't fully recover. Nibali comes from behind and gains ground on stage 19 and then takes the Maglia Rosa on stage 20. Crazy couple days.
