Tour Jerseys

My parents are heading over to France in a few days and will be within 30 - 60 minutes drive of most of the Pyranees stages. They wanted to buy me a jersey while they were over there.

They wanted to get me the Maillot Jaune, but I kind of balked at that. ?Not sure I deserve to even wear that. Of course the Polka dot jersey would be awesome if it came with a podium girl dress for my wife. She loves those polka dotted umbrella dresses.

So my question: Is it ok to get and wear a one of the jerseys or would I get ridiculed by other cyclists if they saw them? Would I be a total poser? I am leaning towards the KOM, but the yellow would be awefully cool too.

I'd think it was great if I saw a polka-dot jersey on the road. Despite it being none of my business, I'm not a big fan of yellow jerseys on men unless they look like they're designed for safety.

There was a time when seeing a dude wearing a polka dot jersey would have caused my gaydar to explode, but now I think they're very cool. Can you get it for the TdC?

BTW, I trust those who have them will be sporting Y jerseys as we climb the Cascades.
