I only caught bits and pieces but the rainy weather, body shaking cobble stones and crazy hill climbs made for an entertaining race. It was really cool to see Fabian Cancellara ditch his bike and on a replacement in merely seconds. Ligget and Sherwin were talking that his drafting behind the vehicle would be looked at by judges, but when he passed up the peloton and rode with Boonen for a while and then pulled away it was never brought up again. Weird.

I missed the bike change because I discovered it was on just over halfway through. Watching him take off on the hill and drive it to the finish line was amazing though. He looks great. I'm interested to see how other teams develop before July.
