  • NY Times on a Ute great/great Ute teams

    http://www.nytimes.com/2009/08/11/sp.../11vecsey.html

    Ute fans, this article is not to be missed (even though it does take too long to identify the team/school).

    That's a great story. It seems like a very fun period in Ute basketball. Also, I didn't really that Kentucky had been kicking your ass for so long, but at least you beat them once around that time.

      Kentucky=Utah kryptonite

      Similarly, NCAA 1st round=BYU kryptonite

        Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

              It's sad that SU can link an incredibly inspiring story about a former Ute who becomes the first Japanese-American NBA player and you make it about BYU.

                It is equally sad that you decided to break out the Kentucky smack on the cusp of football season. Your timing is a few months off.

                      An objective observer could only come to that conclusion.

                      YOhio - Recognizing and appreciating the historical significance of an accomplishment of an alum of my rival school. Also noting a historical trend in the outcome of games between two schools.

                      JIC - Ignoring a historical accomplishment by an alum of his favorite University to make a dig at the rival.
