I've been stewing for months! I can't wait to pay these guys back for depriving me of one final game to watch KC in person (which would have doubled the amount of games I watched KC in person).

Valparaiso got blown out at Oregon. They beat SUU, Coppin State (is there anyone Coppin State doesn't play this year?), and Alabama yesterday. The bulk of their offense appears to be on the front line as their top three scorers are forwards. But they are not incredibly big: 6-9/6-7/6-7. The 6-9 guy (Peters) is their best scorer going better than 25 per game so far. I haven't seen him play so I don't know how we match up against him defensively. He doesn't have a high FG% for a post guy and someone said in the other thread he steps out to shoot the 3 quite a bit.

Edit: Yeah so I have seen Peters play...last March at MSG. But I remember very little about that game.

I just read the Dunkin' Dutchboy is on Valpo's roster.

Derrick Smits — the son of former NBA standout Rik Smits — is a 7-2 redshirt freshman center for Valparaiso. He played two minutes but had three turnovers and two fouls in the Crusaders’ win against Alabama.
